These Terms & Conditions outline the terms under which Indigo Earth Naturopathy provides naturopathic consultations, health services, products and information.

By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, accessing this website, or engaging with Indigo Earth Naturopathy, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website or engage with these services.

1. About Indigo Earth Naturopathy

Indigo Earth Naturopathy is an Australian telehealth naturopathic clinic providing personalised, evidence-informed naturopathic healthcare support.

Services may include:

  • naturopathic consultations

  • nutrition and lifestyle guidance

  • herbal medicine recommendations

  • nutritional supplement recommendations

  • personalised wellness plans

  • functional testing recommendations where appropriate.

Consultations are provided online only via telehealth throughout Australia.

2. Scope of Practice

Indigo Earth Naturopathy provides naturopathic care designed to support your health and wellbeing through nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle recommendations and evidence-informed naturopathic approaches.

Naturopathic services:

  • do not replace medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency care provided by a medical practitioner

  • are not intended to replace prescribed medications or medical advice

  • are designed to complement, not replace, your existing healthcare team.

You are encouraged to maintain communication with your GP and other healthcare professionals involved in your care.

Where appropriate, I may recommend that you seek assessment, testing, treatment or advice from another qualified healthcare provider.

3. Practitioner Responsibilities

Indigo Earth Naturopathy aims to provide safe, professional and personalised care based on the information available at the time of consultation.

I will:

  • listen to your health concerns

  • consider your individual circumstances

  • provide evidence-informed recommendations

  • explain recommendations where possible

  • maintain confidentiality in accordance with my Privacy Policy.

While I aim to support positive health outcomes, individual responses vary and no specific outcome or timeframe can be guaranteed.

4. Client Responsibilities

To support safe and effective care, you agree to:

  • provide accurate and complete health information

  • inform me of relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies and supplements

  • notify me of any changes to your health status

  • follow medical advice provided by your GP or other healthcare providers

  • ask questions if you do not understand recommendations

  • use supplements and herbal products according to directions provided.

Failure to provide accurate information may affect the safety and suitability of recommendations.

5. Telehealth Consultations

All consultations are conducted via telehealth.

You are responsible for ensuring:

  • you have a private and appropriate location for your consultation

  • your device and internet connection are suitable

  • you are available at your scheduled appointment time.

Telehealth provides convenient access to healthcare; however, some limitations exist compared with face-to-face consultations.

If a telehealth consultation is not clinically appropriate, I may recommend consultation with another healthcare professional or service.

6. Appointments and Booking

Appointments must be booked through the available booking system or by contacting Indigo Earth Naturopathy directly.

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you.

By booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy.

7. Consultation Fees and Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

Fees may include:

  • initial consultations

  • follow-up consultations

  • health programs or packages

  • functional testing

  • supplements or practitioner products.

Prices may be updated from time to time. Any applicable fees will be communicated before purchase.

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

I understand that circumstances change. However, appointment times are reserved exclusively for each client.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.

Cancellations more than 24 hours before appointment

No cancellation fee applies.

Cancellations within 24 hours or missed appointments

A cancellation fee of 50% of the consultation fee may apply.

Late arrivals

If you arrive late, I will make every effort to use the remaining consultation time effectively. However, appointments may still finish at the scheduled time to respect other clients.

The full consultation fee remains payable.

Emergencies

If an unexpected emergency occurs, please contact Indigo Earth Naturopathy as soon as possible. Consideration may be given on a case-by-case basis.

9. Refund Policy

Consultations:

Due to the personalised nature of naturopathic consultations and treatment plans, refunds are not available once a consultation has been completed or recommendations have been provided.

Products:

Herbal medicines, supplements and other health products cannot generally be returned or refunded due to safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including where a product is faulty, unsafe or does not meet consumer guarantees.

10. Functional Testing

Functional testing may be recommended where clinically appropriate.

This may include testing such as gut microbiome testing or other laboratory investigations.

Functional testing:

  • is optional unless otherwise discussed

  • involves additional costs

  • may be provided through external laboratories

  • is subject to the laboratory's own terms and conditions.

Indigo Earth Naturopathy does not control laboratory processing times, availability or results.

Test results should be interpreted within the context of your overall health history and not considered in isolation.

11. Supplements and Herbal Medicine

Recommendations may include practitioner-quality supplements, nutritional products or herbal medicines.

You acknowledge that:

  • supplements are not a substitute for a balanced diet or medical care

  • you should disclose all medications, supplements and health conditions before commencing products

  • recommendations are personalised based on the information available at the time

  • you should follow dosage instructions provided.

If you experience unexpected symptoms or concerns, discontinue use where appropriate and seek professional advice.

12. Health Information and Educational Content

Information provided through this website, social media, newsletters, blogs, resources or educational materials is intended for general information and education only.

This information:

  • is not personalised medical advice

  • does not establish a practitioner-client relationship

  • should not be used to diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions

  • should not replace advice from your GP or qualified healthcare provider.

13. Emergency Situations

Indigo Earth Naturopathy does not provide emergency medical services.

If you experience a medical emergency, severe symptoms or an urgent health concern, contact emergency services by calling 000 or seek immediate medical attention.

14. Limitation of Liability

While reasonable care is taken to provide safe and evidence-informed recommendations, Indigo Earth Naturopathy does not guarantee specific health outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Indigo Earth Naturopathy is not responsible for:

  • outcomes resulting from individual implementation of recommendations

  • failure to follow recommendations

  • information withheld or inaccurately provided by clients

  • interactions with medications, supplements or treatments where relevant information was not disclosed.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

15. Website Use

The information and materials provided on the Indigo Earth Naturopathy website are owned by Indigo Earth Naturopathy unless otherwise stated.

You may access and use website content for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not:

  • copy, reproduce or distribute website content without permission

  • use content for commercial purposes

  • claim ownership of materials created by Indigo Earth Naturopathy.

All original content created by Indigo Earth Naturopathy, including:
